Application Overview
The integrated Service Request application will satisfy the dynamic needs of your service department. Call recording, work order creation, order dispatch, and cost documentation all take place within this application. Service contracts and warranty data can be entered and noted when a call is received. Service Request updates with the Payroll, Equipment Accounting, Order Processing/Inventory Control, Time & Material Billing, Purchasing, and Job Cost applications.

Service Request Benefits
Enhanced Service Calls
A single customer can be set up with multiple locations for service. Calls are entered and a work order is created with the attached service items. Credit information and service contracts are also displayed when the call is created.
Dispatch Information
The eCMS Service application can dispatch technicians and/or equipment as needed. The dispatch board can be sorted and selected in numerous ways to assist the dispatcher. Technician information is also displayed with calls that are assigned during a period of time. Service orders are “dragged” to the technician to reserve a block of time. Time can be blocked out for a technician for non-service call activities such as meetings, paper work, or vacations.
Service Contracts
Service Contracts with user-definable contract descriptions can be created for a customer or location. The service items, contract period, billing cycle, service cycle, and billing amount can be defined by the user. Work orders for the contract can be automatically created and listed on the dispatch board to ensure real-time information for the dispatcher. |
